1) When and what time is the training?
A: The training with Taiko-sensei is on SATURDAY & SUNDAY because that is the only time he’s available. The date of training will be discussed among the paying-members. Secondly, there will also be trainings for private practice.

2) Where is the location for the training?
A: Most likely UBD campus area. Unless there’s a suitable location to train in. Second consideration is the transportation for the drums – it’s heavy!

3) How long does the training going to be?
A: The training with sensei is 4 hours per day – depends on individual’s perseverance. Prolonged training may cause muscles ache & blister(s).
4) What does the fee cost ($85) covers?
A: This fee is for the early-bird registration fee, sensei’s expenses, and drum fee.

A: This training is open to public and for any age.

6) When will this Taiko training going to start?
A: Most probably in January 2012 – depends on the number of registered members. Deposits are required in advance to arrange sensei’s schedule.
Minimum number of students: 8 to 12 (max.) due to limitation of the drums.
7) Who is the Taiko instructor?
A: He is from Japan. His Taiko style is Kansai-style. He came to Brunei before to perform Taiko performance for Brunei at the Mall and UBD. His name is Nakanishi, from the Malaysia’s taiko group called WadaikoSyo.
8) How the training is going to be held?
A: There’s only two drums can be obtained/borrowed. Thus, there will be 2-3 people sharing per drum. This objective is to learn how to hit the drum properly, not creating music yet.
